Peanut had lost a lot of hair because of a flea infestation
Snuffy was mistreated. He had learned not to trust and would nip to protect himself. After a few months in foster care he learned to trust people again. He lives very happily with his new mom, dad, and canine brother.
Peanut is a very tiny 3# purebred Pomeranian male. He came to us from the local shelter. He was surrended to the animal shelter with another Pomeranian male totally covered with fleas. Peanut had lost a lot of his thick coat due to this bad case of flea infestation and severe matting. He would try to bite at the shelter due to being very fearful of all the big dogs barking. Peanut's new mom says his hair is growing in very nicely.
Payton is a purebred Shih Tzu. He came from a shelter. They felt he would not be adoptable because of his deformed front leg. Payton was such a joy in foster care. The front leg never slowed him down at all. He lives very happily with his new family by Stevens Point, WI. Every day he brings joy to his new family.
Miracle dog Blackie!!
Blackie has been running wild without a family for 5 years. She was finally able to be caught. The police said she would have to be shot for chasing cars if she could not be live trapped. Blackie would make caves in the snow to sleep at night. Some people would throw her food to eat. She would not come to any human. It took Blackie a long time before she learned to trust humans and find the love they had to offer. She is now very happy in her new home with a canine sister and a very loving and patient human mom. Blackie finally gets to experience the love of humans close up.

Teddy is a purebred Chocolate Yorkie. He is a 1 year old bundle of love. He was such a joy to have in rescue. Teddy now lives with his new parents and now has a pet chinchilla.
Gin Gin is a sweet Shih Tzu. She came into rescue with some tumors. These tumors were removed while in rescue. Gin Gin lives happily in her new home.
Max is a purebred Shih Tzu. He came into rescue heartworm positive. Max was started on his 18 month treatment for heartworm which his new family continued. He loves to play with toys and keep your lap warm. This social boy now lives in his new home. He is healthy and happy.
Morrie is a purebred Shih Tzu. He was an owner surrender along with his 10 year old mom. Morrie and his mom were kept outside in a cage with no humans to curl up against. He ended up blind in one eye because of an untreated injury early in life. He adapted to life in his foster home very quickly. Morrie loves playing with toys. Morrie now lives in the country with his canine sister and cat,
Tiffany is a rat terrier that was an owner surrender. This sweet girl is very high energy. She went to a family with children that could keep up with her. Tiffany also has a canine friend to play with.
Mac is a purebred Shih Tzu. He was an owner surrender. Mac had some aggression issues that he worked through in rescue. He lives very happily in his new home.
Holly is a Bischon mix that came from the shelter. She is a very sweet girl that got a chance of a good life in foster. Holly went to her new home where she is greatly loved.
Lady is a Shih Tzu/Poodle. She came into rescue needing a new home. She is a very sweet, shy girl that got a chance of a good life. Lady went to her new home where she is greatly loved.
Lucky is a Doxie/Pomeranian mix. He came to rescue from a local shelter where he was a stray. Lucky has perfect manners and came to rescue housebroke. He is truly lucky and now lives with his new family and feline sibling.
Toby is a purebred Lhasa Apso. He came to rescue as an owner turn in. He has the typical Lhasa personality except that he is very social and such a lover. Toby now lives in Wisconsin Rapids as a prince in his new moms life. Toby is the love of his mom's life.
Little Guy is a Italian Greyhound/Jack Russell mix. He is now living very happily with his canine brothers. He is the apple of his new human mom and dad's eyes.
Gunner is a Doxie/Rat Terrier mix. He came to rescue due to life changes. Gunner has gone to his new family who lives in Ohio. He sure was happy to have his own family again.
Bailey is a Schipperke/Shibu Inu mix. She came to rescue because her mom had to move and could only take one dog. It wasn't too long and Bailey became known as Baby while in foster care. She now lives happily in Southern WI with her new mom and cat sibling. Bailey is happy she has found her new for ever home even though she will miss her foster family.
Rosa is an adorable Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix. Even though Rosa is very hard of hearing she adapts very well. Rosa has so much to give and her new family know this. She has found her new forever home in Wautoma, WI with a very loving family.
Remi is an adorable long haired purebred Chihuahua. What a great little dog Remi was living with us. I grew to love her. She was so shy when she entered our home and grew into a fun loving character. She went to a home in Michigan to two very nice people that all ready have a Chihuahua by the name of Max. I'm sure she will adjust to her new home well and have fun with her new brother, Max. Good Bye little Remi. We will miss having you around.
Lady is a very loving purebred Daschund. She came to rescue at 5 years old and weighing just 11#s from the local shelter overflow. She is full of personality and touched her foster family's life. Lady needed to have someone around most of the time since she missed out on that in her first 5 years of life. She has found that home now and we are so happy for her. Lady, we will miss having you around.
Angel and Noel are two very sweet 1 year old purebred Yorkies. They are sisters and came to rescue due to life change with her previous owner. These girls went to their new home together in Oshkosh. Angel and Noel will be lavished in love by their new mom and dad.

Lucky is an 11 month old purebred Yorkie boy. He came to rescue because his owner could no longer keep him. This very sweet boy enjoys being on your lap and sleeping in bed with you. He now lives in Wisconsin Rapids with his new parents.
Baby Bear is an 8 month old purebred Yorkie boy. He came to rescue because his owner could no longer keep him due to medical issues. This very sweet boy enjoys being on your lap and sleeping in bed with you. Baby Bear already knew a few tricks. His parents are looking forward to teaching him more tricks. The already love Baby Bear and his antics. He name is now Little Bear and he lives in Wisconsin Rapids with his new parents.
Sushi is an 8# purebred Pekingnese girl. At 3 months old we found out she has cataracts. Sushi is a special needs girls that went to a special home. She is now one of 4 rescue babies and the love of her parents. She now has 2 older Pekingnese and Shih Tzu sisters and a Yorkie brother that is just a year and half old. She also has a human brother to give her loving. Sushi is living very happily in southern Wisconsin.
Oscar is a very loving Shih Tzu/ Maltese boy that had gotten lost. His past family never came looking for him. Oscar came to rescue from the local animal shelter. Oscar bonded very closely with his foster dad and loved his foster mom. Now he lives in Duluth, MN with is new mom. Oscar will dearly be missed at his foster home.
Vitto is a very loving Shih Tzu/Pom mix. He was such a pleasure to have in foster. Vitto did the most adorable begging that makes everyones smile. He came to rescue due to life changes of his owner. He very happily lives in Wausau, WI with his new Dad, mom, and 3 human sisters. You are so precious Vitto and we miss you.
Emma came to us as a 5 month old pup. She is Schnauzer/Brussel Griffon mix. Emma is a very loving, playful active girl. She had bounced from one house to another before us. Emma, at 6 months old, now lives very happily in south eastern WI with her new mom, dad, and Jack Russell Terrier brother. This is a match made in heaven.
Roxie came to us at barely 4 years old. She is a purebred Bichon Frise. On the left is a picture of Roxie when she came to rescue. The picture on the right is the wonderful transformation Dan atDan-o's Doggie Dos at 715-323-3563 made. Roxie now lives very happily in Central Wisconsin with her Dad, Mom, and human siblings. It was love at first sight.
Palyn is a Bichon/Poodle mix that came to rescue with her mom. At just 8 months old she is such a loving girl that finally got to experience life as a family member. Payln finally got to sleep in a real bed instead of an outside kennel once in rescue. She now lives very happily with her new mom, dad and canine sisters.
Wishbone is a Chihuahua mix that was surrendered to the local shelter by his 4th home at just 5 months old. Thankfully the shelter saw that the best place for Wishbone was in a rescue home. His last home was upset because after just one day he was not totally housebroke. Wishbone got to experience being around dogs of all sizes and enjoying it. He is a very smart and loving boy. Wishbone loves sleeping in bed under the covers close to you. He now lives very happily with his new dad, mom, and 5 year old human sister.
Nikki is a 4 year old Bichon/Poodle mix. He found a perfect home. Dad is home all the time. Nikki also has a mom, Bichon sister, MeeMee, and lop eared bunny buddy. Nikki already is inseperable with his Bichon sister. He is the perfect dog in the perfect home. We are going to miss your loving personality in our foster home. Good luck Nikki. Veno is an adorable Biewer Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix. He is a very sweet and loving 5 month old puppy. Veno lives very happily in his new home. He has a mom, dad, and human sister named Rebecca. We sure will miss you in foster Veno. Congratulations.
Monte is a sweet purebred 5# Yorkie. Monte and his brothers came into rescue because his previous owners' life changes. At 13 months old he is such an awesome boy. Monte now lives in South Eastern Wisconsin with his new mom. He is her pride and joy. We love you Monte.
Bear is a very loving purebred 15# Yorkie. Bear and his brothers came into rescue because his previous owners' life changes. At 14 months old he is so cuddly like a big Teddy Bear. Bear now lives in Eastern Wisconsin with his new mom & dad. He is now their baby boy. We are going to miss you, Bear.
Peanut is such a loving, sweet Rat Terrier/Italian Greyhound mix. He came to rescue at 10 months old. Even though he celebrated his birthday in rescue we found the perfect home for him. Peanut now lives in Northern Wisconsin with his new mom and dad. He also has 2 human sisters that he can play toys with and curl up next to for naps. Peanut's leaving foster will create such a void in his foster parents' lives. Peanut found his perfect home.
We have had so many dogs come into foster that we don't have enough room to show them individually. Each dog and each reason for them touching our lives is special. Instead of deleting them we have decided to create a slide show of some of our past foster dogs.
Dottie is a purebred Maltese. She came to rescue from the local Animal Shelter. Dottie was getting very stressed in the shelter so she came to rescue. Dottie was the love of her foster mom and neighbors. She now lives with her new mom and dad and canine brother, Walter. When the two get tired after playing they lay on the back of the couch, their favorite spot. These pictures were sent to us by Dottie's new mom. We are glad you are so happy in your new home with your brother Walter.
U-go is a purebred Shih Tzu. He came to the rescue from the local shelter. U-go is a very social, loving boy. He lives very happily with his new mom, dad and kitty sister.
Chance
Hiker is a 1 year old purebred Bichon Frise. He came from the same horrible puppymill that Chance & Moxie came from. Hiker had only known walking on a wire cage. In his foster home he learned you don't have to potty where you sleep, you can sleep in bed with people, & live in a warm house around people. He also learned how to use steps and play with toys and other dogs. It was fun and a learning experience for his foster parents to teach Hiker about normal life that so many people take for granted a dog his age should know. Hiker is now in a wonderful forever home with a mom, dad, and Shih Tzu brother, Andie. In one day Hiker and Andy are inseperable. Hiker also gets to enjoy the grandkids when they come over.
Chance and Moxie are purebred Japanese Chin puppies. They came from a horrible puppymill in Kansas. These two are brother and sister. Chance got his right front leg severely broken in the wire cage they lived in. His leg was crippled beyond repair. This crippled leg kept him from having much of a life. The leg was removed while he was in rescue. It was so much fun shooting videos of Chance tearing around and playing with his sister using 3 legs. This brother and sister went to their new home together. They live very happily in Green Bay area with their new mom and dad. Chance kept his name but Moxie is now called Roxie. She loves her new name & they both love their new home.
