DeeDee is an adorable black Shih Tzu surrender who was kept outside. Her coat was matted with sticks. As you can see she is quite loved in Wisconsin Rapids. Her foster mom even gets to occassionally babysit this sweet girl.
Gus is a very nice purebred Shih Tzu that came into rescue. He now lives very happily in his new home.

Ernie was an adorable white poodle boy. He was a surrender to the shelter due to his old age. Ernie was placed with Rapids Little Dog Rescue. He was loved dearly by his foster mom until he just recently crossed over to the rainbow bridge of old age.
Peanut is a very tiny 3# purebred Pomeranian male. He came from the local shelter. He was surrended with another Pomeranian male. Peanut had lost a lot of his thick coat due to bad case of flea infestation and severe matting. He would try to bite at the shelter due to being very fearful of all the big dogs barking. Peanut's new mom says his hair is growing in very nicely.
Payton is a purebred Shih Tzu. He came from a shelter. They felt he would not be adoptable because of his deformed front leg. Payton was such a joy in foster care. The front leg never slowed him down at all. He lives very happily with his new family by Stevens Point, WI. Every day he brings joy to his new family.
Bandit is a Shih Tzu/Pug. He came from the local shelter. He is a very sweet boy that loves his 14 year old human brother. He not only is the background on their computer but a very active part of his new family's life.
Topper is a very sweet Shih Tzu boy and a joy to have in foster. Topper now lives with his human mom, dad, sister, brother, canine brother and their pet, cat.
Rupert is a purebred Pekingese. Rupert is a very well behaved boy that was picked up as a stray. He then came to rescue. Rupert has a bad eye that does not slow him down. He now has a family that keeps up with him and a Boston Terrier sister to play with in Southeastern WI.
Izzy is a Poodle/Bischon boy. He is very playful and full of antics. He was surrendered by his owner to the local Animal Shelter. To reduce stress of the shelter Izzy was place in rescue. He now has a new mom, dad, and canine brother.
Miracle dog Blackie!! Blackie has been running wild without a family for 5 years. She was finally able to be caught. The police said she would have to be shot for chasing cars if she could not be live trapped. Blackie would make caves in the snow to sleep at night. Some people would throw her food to eat. She would not come to any human. It took Blackie a long time before she learned to trust humans and find the love they had to offer. She is now very happy in her new home with a canine sister and a very loving and patient human mom. Blackie finally gets to experience the love of humans close up.

Cleo is a Shih Tzu/Poodle that weighs 25#s. She loves her stuffed toys, cuddle in your chair, and bed. She lives very happily with her new mom and dad on the lake in northern WI.
Elmo is a Poodle/Maltese. He came from a home that did not care for him. All of his medical issues were taken care of while he was in rescue. He has now bounced back from rough life and is very happy in his new home.

Morrie is a purebred Shih Tzu. He was an owner surrender along with his 10 year old mom. Morrie and his mom were kept outside in a cage with no humans to curl up against. He ended up blind in one eye because of an untreated injury early in life. He adapted to life in his foster home very quickly. Morrie loves playing with toys. Morrie now lives in the country with his canine sister and cat,
Tiffany is a rat terrier that was an owner surrender. This sweet girl is very high energy. She went to a family with children that could keep up with her. Tiffany also has a canine friend to play with.
Mac is a purebred Shih Tzu. He was an owner surrender. Mac had some aggression issues that he worked through in rescue. He lives very happily in his new home.

She now lives happily in Southern WI with her new mom and cat sibling. Bailey is happy she has found her new for ever home even though she will miss her foster family.
Rosa is an adorable Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix. Even though Rosa is very hard of hearing she adapts very well. Rosa has so much to give and her new family know this. She has found her new forever home in Wautoma, WI with a very loving family.
Remi is an adorable long haired purebred Chihuahua. What a great little dog Remi was living with us. I grew to love her. She was so shy when she entered our home and grew into a fun loving character. She went to a home in Michigan to two very nice people that all ready have a Chihuahua by the name of Max. I'm sure she will adjust to her new home well and have fun with her new brother, Max. Good Bye little Remi. We will miss having you around.

Lady needed to have someone around most of the time since she missed out on that in her first 5 years of life. She has found that home now and we are so happy for her. Sushi is an 8# purebred Pekingnese girl. At 3 months old we found out she has cataracts. Sushi is a special needs girls that went to a special home. She is now one of 4 rescue babies and the love of her parents. She now has 2 older Pekingnese and Shih Tzu sisters and a Yorkie brother that is just a year and half old. She also has a human brother to give her loving. Sushi is living very happily in southern Wisconsin.
